1. Agreement to These Terms
By using PawLedger, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If you use PawLedger for an organization, clinic, or business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. PawLedger Service
PawLedger helps you organize pet profiles, health records, reminders, vet notes, costs, and AI-assisted summaries. Features may change over time. We may add, remove, pause, or modify features to improve the app, address security issues, comply with law, or support operations.
3. Veterinary and Medical Disclaimer
PawLedger does not provide veterinary medicine, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, emergency services, or professional medical advice. App content, reminders, AI summaries, and generated notes are for personal organization only.
If your pet may be sick, injured, poisoned, or in distress, contact a licensed veterinarian, animal hospital, poison control service, or local emergency service right away.
4. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for your account, device, login credentials, and activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access or account misuse.
5. Your Content
You may upload or enter pet records, images, reminders, expense entries, documents, notes, and other content. You keep ownership of your content. You grant PawLedger permission to host, process, display, back up, and transmit your content as needed to provide the app.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to add content to PawLedger. Do not upload illegal content, harmful code, misleading records, or private information about other people without permission.
6. AI Features
PawLedger may offer AI-assisted summaries, note organization, or drafting tools. AI output can contain mistakes, omissions, outdated information, or wording that needs correction. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it or sharing it with a veterinarian.
Do not use AI features for emergencies, diagnosis, treatment decisions, medication changes, or any decision that requires licensed veterinary judgment.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not break the law, violate rights, or misuse PawLedger.
- Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or attack the app or its providers.
- Do not bypass security controls, access another account, or test vulnerabilities without written permission.
- Do not use PawLedger to store malware, spam, fraud, harassment, or abusive content.
- Do not sell, rent, or sublicense app access unless we give written permission.
8. Payments and Subscriptions
If PawLedger offers paid features, prices, billing cycles, trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds will follow the terms shown at purchase and the rules of the app store or payment provider you use. You are responsible for taxes and charges linked to your purchase.
9. Third-Party Services
PawLedger may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, analytics, push notifications, payments, crash reporting, storage, and AI processing. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
10. App Ownership
PawLedger, including its design, branding, software, text, graphics, and features, belongs to PawLedger or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of the app, trademarks, source code, or other intellectual property.
11. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using PawLedger at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, cause legal exposure, or misuse the app. We may also suspend features for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.
12. Disclaimers
PawLedger is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every pet care situation. You use PawLedger at your own risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, PawLedger and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or veterinary costs arising from your use of the app.
14. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold PawLedger harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses that arise from your content, your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when PawLedger changes or when legal requirements change. We will post the updated version in the app or on our website and update the effective date. Your continued use of PawLedger after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
